Coronavirus update: Vietnam records no new cases, global cases of COVID-19 edge closer to 14 million

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam on Saturday reported no new COVID-19 cases in the community  in 93 consecutive days.

According to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, 357 out of 382 patients have recovered, accounting for 93.7% of all COVID-19 cases in Vietnam.

The number of worldwide confirmed cases of the coronavirus illness COVID-19 surpassed 14 million on Saturday.

The US counted a record number of cases in a single day with 59,000 cases.

Brazil’s case tally rose above 2 million overnight, while India’s positive excessed 1 million.
