The same day, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez condemned statements by  some US officials supporting the protests in Cuba, saying that the White House has no moral or political right to talk about Cuba.

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador on Monday denounced intervention by foreign agents in Cuba's sovereignty, and called for the end of the US economic embargo on Cuba.
