Da Nang launches campaign to rebuild homes for flood-hit residents

(VOVWORLD) - Da Nang’s Military Command mobilized nearly 500 officers and soldiers to help rebuild homes damaged or destroyed by recent floods and storms, especially in mountainous communes. The campaign aims to accelerate repairs and the rebuilding of 275 severely damaged houses.

Colonel Tran Huu Ich, Commander of the Da Nang Military Command, said: "I hope that all forces involved in this mission are determined to overcome difficulties to fulfill their tasks. We need to be flexible, making use of local materials and resources to rebuild damaged homes as scheduled. If necessary, you can request reinforcements so that all houses can be completed and handed over by January 20, 2026."

Previously, the Da Nang Military Command deployed 100 personnel to assist residents in Dak Lak province in rebuilding after severe storms and floods.
