(VOVWORLD) - A delegation of the National Election Council, led by Minister of National Defense General Phan Van Giang inspected preparations for the elections of the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term in Thai Nguyen province on Tuesday.

Minister Giang praised the province’s methodical preparation and effective inter-agency coordination. Voter lists have been compiled and publicly posted, while logistical preparations including printed materials, ballot box supplies, and polling station decoration are proceeding according to plan.
He urged local authorities to closely monitor the situation at grassroots level, ensure comprehensive plans for security, public order, and healthcare, and strengthen supervision to promptly address any arising difficulties, guaranteeing absolute safety for the elections.
