Deputy PM praises US businesses' contribution to bilateral cooperation
(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh chaired a webinar on Wednesday with the US business community to share visions, initiatives, and solutions to promote the extensive development of ties, as well as support in economic recovery and development following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Addressing the event, Deputy Prime Minister Minh affirmed that the Vietnamese Government is making great efforts to meet the dual goals of combating the pandemic whilst ensuring continued economic development. He highly appreciate the contribution of the US business community in promoting bilateral economic cooperation with Vietnam.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his great appreciation for the commitment of the US Government to sponsor 4 billion USD for the COVID-19 Vaccine Global Access initiative, calling on the US Government and business community to continue supporting Vietnam in accessing vaccine supplies, as well as in transferring vaccine production technology.
Representatives of the US business community expressed their appreciation for Vietnamese COVID-19 prevention and control and economic development, adding that there remains plenty of room for both nations to boost economic relations. They offered proposals and initiatives on cooperation in developing the digital economy, infrastructure, renewable energy, clean energy, and sustainable development.
