(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam said he hopes EU ambassador to Vietnam Bruno Angelet will contribute more to bilateral cooperation.

At a reception on Tuesday, Mr. Dam asked the ambassador to help persuade EU members France, Italy, and Greece to ratify the EU-Vietnam Partnership and Cooperation Agreement. He also asked the ambassador to accelerate the signing of the EU-Vietnam FTA and the EU’s recognition of Vietnam’s market economy status by the time the FTA comes into force.

The EU ambassador said he hopes future cooperative activities will deepen Vietnam-EU relations.
