Chairing a conference in Hanoi on the role of businesses in driving double-digit growth, the Prime Minister noted that amid ongoing global and domestic challenges, Vietnam can no longer rely on traditional growth drivers such as exports, investment and consumption.

Instead, it must shift decisively toward a new growth model based on science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, and the green, circular and creative economies.

“Our perception of businesses has changed. We clearly see their mission in driving rapid and sustainable national development. Businesses must be the key actors, the center of this transformation. They must contribute to policymaking and institutional development, while also effectively implementing those policies,” said the PM.

PM Chinh called for stronger linkages among enterprises to foster cooperation for mutual development. He urged companies to actively join the government in developing shared national digital platforms, open data systems, and implementing key national science and technology programs, particularly in priority sectors.
