The top three export categories topping the 10-billion-dollar mark are computers, electronics and components (23.3 billion USD), telephones (14.19 billion USD), and machinery, equipment, tools and other spare parts (11.64 billion USD).

According to the Vietnam Electronic Industries Association, orders obtained in the first quarter of 2026 are positive, as during the Lunar New Year holiday, businesses maintained continuous exports. In 2025, the sector achieved record exports of 165 billion USD, a significant increase compared to 126.5 billion USD of 2024.

Experts said that in the last two years, the value and variety of exported electronic goods have improved significantly and many products have made a strong impression at international exhibitions. Production models such as automation, AI application, proactive supply chain management, and increased localization rates are propelling the electronics industry in the global supply chain.
