(VOVWORLD) - The European Commission on Wednesday announced details on how the European Union is to provide 90 billion euros (105 billion USD) in financial aid for Ukraine.

This is one of the EU's largest financial support packages to help maintain Ukraine's stability amid pro-longed conflicts and mounting economic pressure.
The aid package will also help Kiev restore its energy infrastructure, transport networks, ensure macro-economic stability, as Ukraine prepares to join the EU.
