(VOVWORLD) - State President Luong Cuong on Friday presented decisions appointing 16 ambassadors and assigned them their tasks for the 2025-2028 tenure.

President Cuong asked the diplomats to effectively implement economic diplomacy, contributing to realizing Vietnam’s double-digit growth target.
They must mobilize resources for national development and prioritize cooperation in key areas like science and technology, strategic infrastructure, and human resources development, he said.
The President called on the ambassadors to help promote Vietnam's land, people, and culture, unite the overseas Vietnamese community, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of Vietnamese citizens and businesses abroad.
