(VOVworld) - The program “Enhancing ASEAN Free Trade Agreement negotiating capacity program” has been the focus of the Public Dialogue Forum (PDF) co-organized by the Association of Southeast Asian Nation (ASEAN) and the European Union (EU) in Hanoi on Friday. Speaking at the forum, Deputy Director of the Trade and Industry Information Center, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Le Quoc Phuong said that managerial reforms are essential for Vietnam to change from being a centralized economy to becoming a market economy.

With the EU’s support, the forum has been held in several ASEAN capitals and major cities this year. The delegates discussed managerial reforms, which is important for economic restructuring, reforms and promoting long term economic growth in Vietnam and ASEAN.
