(VOVWORLD) - Relief supplies from the Singaporean government to help people in disaster areas in Vietnam arrived at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport on Thursday.

The aid shipment, which includes water filtration pumps, bottled water, personal hygiene kits, blankets, water containers, and food rations, will reach Bac Kan province on Friday.
In the past week, Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has received aid shipments from many international organizations and disaster risk reduction partners, as well as the embassies of Switzerland, the UK, Australia, and India, the ASEAN Regional Disaster Response Coordination Centre, Japan's International Cooperation Agency, and Samaritan’s Purse.
