Islamist terrorists whose attacks have killed 500 soldiers and police officers

(VOVworld) - Egyptian police have arrested four Islamic militants accused of recruiting youths to fight for the Islamic State (IS), said the state news agency MENA. It did not identity the persons arrested.

Egypt is currently participating in the US-led international coalition combating the IS, which has intensified attacks in Egypt recently. Egypt’s security forces have arrested hundreds of suspected Islamist terrorists whose attacks have killed 500 soldiers and police officers since the ouster of President Mohamed Morsi last summer.
