(VOVWORLD) - Every player at the 2023 Women's World Cup is guaranteed the prize money of at least 30,000 USD, FIFA said on Thursday.

FIFA will double its preparation support funds to 31 million USD, allocated to football federations of countries qualified for the 2023 Women's World Cup.
Participating teams will receive at least 1.56 million USD while the champions will receive 4.29 million USD.
The amount paid to the team and individual levels will duly increase the further the team progresses. In the group stage, players will receive 30,000 USD each, while those in the finals will receive 270,000 USD each.
The 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup will run from July 20 to August 20 in Australia and New Zealand. First timers, Vietnam will join group E and face the US on July 22, Netherlands on July 27, and Portugal on August 1.
