Both sides agreed on measures to strengthen cooperation in the coming time, with priority given to the exchange of delegations at all levels as well as people-to-people exchanges, particularly among the youth.

Deputy FM Hang proposed experience sharing, mutual recognition and investment in Halal products to increase Vietnam's exports to Kuwait and the regional market; boosting investment attraction, especially from the Kuwait Investment Auhtority (KIA) into Vietnam, and improving the efficiency of Nghi Son Nghi Son refinery project.

In addition, the two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in other potential fields, such as food security, tourism, labor, and aviation. They stressed the need to  promote negotiations and signing of cooperation documents to finetune the legal framework for bilateral cooperation.

Hang suggested that Kuwait consider increasing scholarships for Vietnamese students and collaborate closely with Vietnam to effectively deploy and expand ODA cooperation projects in the future.
