(VOVWORLD) -Hundreds of artisans performed gong concerts, Xoang dances and folk music of their ethnic groups at a cultural experience gong festival within the 5th Culture-Tourism Week in the central highlands province of Kon Tum Friday night.

Spectators were treated to Dinh Tut musical instrument concert of the Gie-Trieng ethnic group, instrumental ensemble "Chim Jil goes to take a bath" of Xo Dang ethnic group, concert of gongs "Soldiers return to the village" of Ba Na ethnic group, and singing folk songs "Drum and Gong Festival" of Thai ethnic people.
Artisan A Ru, Kon Kloc village, Dak Mar commune, Dak Ha district, said, “I am so happy as the troupe leader coming here to exchange and learn. People of various ethnic groups as brothers gather to present their rich and diverse identities. We must first set an example for children to follow and love their traditions.”
Kon Tum has been home to ethnic minority groups through multiple generations and is the cradle of the gong culture. The province has tangible and intangible cultural assets deeply rooted in the traditions of the Central Highlands.
