At the meeting, the top leader congratulated the Vietnam Public Sector Union for organizing and implementing the movement well and praised 150 advanced examples. He emphasized that the delegates have set examples of excellence, enthusiasm, daring to innovate, working with high productivity and good quality, dedication, and high responsibility at work, and wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland and the people.

General Secretary and President To Lam underlined the strategic goal that Vietnam will be a developing country with modern industry and high middle income by 2030, and a developed socialist-oriented country with high income by 2045. To achieve these goals, he stressed the need to maximize internal resources and take advantage of external resources, in which human resources are the most important endogenous resources.

“I hope that in daily work, from advising on macro policies and guidelines, to specific administrative and service tasks, each person must listen to the people and be determined to resolve them promptly, thoroughly and effectively on issues that arise related to people's lives and livelihoods as well as difficulties facing organizations and businesses. We must put ourselves in the position of the people to give advice, propose guidelines, policies or resolve administrative procedures effectively," he said.

General Secretary and President To Lam also noted that in the context of globalization and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, with digital transformation, green transformation and knowledge economy as the foundation, the civil servants, public employees and workers need to be truly dynamic, innovative, have the spirit of self-study, always update knowledge, and develop skills to meet the requirements of the new situation.
