(VOVworld) - Ministers, agency heads, and chairmen of provincial People’s Committees, were urged to overcome challenges and make full use of any advantages to fulfill tasks set for 2014. This is aimed at realizing the national 5-year socio-economic development plan for 2011-2015 as stated in a resolution issued by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung at the opening of the government’s December meeting in Hanoi on Thursday. Regarding the government’s performance, the resolution stressed the importance of focusing on building institutions and implementing agenda programs. The Government Office was asked to consider cabinet members’ opinions and recommendations made at meetings between the government and localities in completing reports reviewing activities in 2013 and setting tasks for the New Year.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung asked the Government Office to coordinate with the Ministry of Planning and Investment in acquiring recommendations suggested at meetings with localities and compiling reports on tasks and solutions guiding the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget estimate for 2014.
