(VOVWORLD) - The second Hanoi Autumn Festival will be held September 12 to September 15 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the capital city’s Liberation Day (October 10).

In addition to the opening ceremony and a music gala titled "Hanoi Autumn" on September 13 at Hoan Kiem lake in the heart of Hanoi, there will be stalls of traditional food featuring local specialties like young sticky rice and West Lake lotus scented tea.
Other activities will include art installations, familiarization trips, and a discussion on tourism promotion.
Street performances at the Hoan Kiem Lake walking street on September 15 will recreate the scene of joyful Hanoians waving flags and flowers to welcome the victorious army marching into the city on liberation day as well as depict the life and culture of the capital city.
