(VOVWORLD) - Hanoi has been named one of the world’s 50 most beautiful cities by US travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler.

The magazine notes that Hanoi is a convergence of tradition and modernity, a place where distinctive Oriental architecture blends with Western influences, creating a unique charm that attracts international visitors.
2025 marked an important milestone for Hanoi’s tourism sector as the city received a series of prestigious travel awards, including “Asia’s Leading City Destination” and “Asia’s Leading City Break Destination.”
Hanoi was also ranked among the Top 25 Cultural Destinations in the World and the Top 25 Destinations in the World, and was named the No.1 cultural and artistic city in Asia by Time Out magazine.
In 2026, Hanoi will continue to promote its tourism image as a safe, friendly, quality and attractive destination, meeting new development demands and affirming its position as one of the world’s leading travel destinations.
