HCM city pledges to stay side by side with US partners
(VOVWORLD) - HCM city’s top official pledged full support for US investors and partners at a business forum on Tuesday.

Municipal Party Secretary Nguyen Thien Nhan said HCM city offers huge opportunities for investment in technology, particularly AI.
“Your successes are our happiness. In spite of COVID-19 and climate change, both countries have to move forward. Vietnam and the US has decided to go together to cooperate and to develop friendship since the last 25 years,” said Mr. Nhan.
HCM city and the US Trade and Development Agency signed a sponsorship agreement at the forum for a 1.5 million USD project to build a smart city operating center.
The forum was organized by the municipal People’s Committee, the US Consulate General, and the American Chamber of Commerce in HCM city.
