(VOV) – Ho Chi Minh City’s Women’s Union on Friday celebrate the 103rd International Women’s Day, March 8^th, as well as the 1973 years of Two Trung sisters’ uprising.

The participants reviewed the tradition and history of the March 8^th Women’s Movement and the important role of the women in national development. As part of the occasion, the city’s Women’s Union launched a pro-active campaign in response to Vietnam Family Year, and to mark the 65^th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s appeal for national patriotism.
