Ho Chi Minh city tourism festival concludes

(VOVworld) – “Ho Chi Minh City Tourism: Trademark – Integration – Development” was the main theme of the just concluded Ho Chi Minh city tourism festival 2013, which attracted 80 travel agents from 20 provinces and cities. The 9th occurrence of the festival included colorful tourism stimulus activities featuring the local cultures of different areas.

120 booths were decorated to make them attractive to visitors. The organizers honored agents for great contributions to tourism promotion as well as for beautiful booths, tasty dishes, and outstanding Vietnamese tourism photographs. Tran Van Long, General Director of the Viet Media Travel Agency, told reporters: The Ho Chi Minh city tourism festival has been held several times but I think its advertising and organization are not on a par with its scale. We need to make the festival a trademark familiar to more domestic and foreign visitors and travel agents to attract their participation every time it opens. 

The 4-day festival concluded Sunday.
