The main performances will take place in the Hue Imperial Palace heritage area and public spaces along the banks of the Huong (Perfume) River and the streets of Hue city.

In addition to special performances by artists and art troupes, the Organizing Committee has organized 3D mapping light performances to promote the architectural heritages of the ancient capital of Hue.

A “Royal Gastronomy” program will be held at Truong Sanh Palace, one of the 20 most popular attractions of the Nguyen Dynasty's capital, to introduce Hue’s unique cuisine.

Nguyen Phuoc Hai Trung, Deputy Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, said that Kien Trung Palace has been chosen as the venue for this year’s three main activities - the opening ceremony, a concert called ‘Trinh Cong Son – love found’, and the closing program.

“We chose Kien Trung Palace because Thua Thien-Hue has just spent 20 years restoring it,” said Trung.

Art troupes from seven countries will perform at the Festival through June 12.
