(VOVworld) - Ceremonials to remember the ancestors of traditional crafts and honor traditional artisans concluded the biennial Hue Traditional Craft Festival in the central province of Thua Thien – Hue on Saturday.

The event attracted 240 artisans from 40 traditional villages across Vietnam and also showcased items made by Japanese and Korean artisans. There were 100,000 visitors to this year’s festival.

Nguyen Dang Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Hue city People’s Committee, said: “the Hue Traditional Craft Festival aims to promote craft villages and products. We hope to help them expand their markets. Handicraft items are well traded here. Several villages found new orders at the festival.”
