Huong Pagoda Festival opens, aiming for year-round tourism
(VOVWORLD) - The 2026 Huong Pagoda Festival, Vietnam’s longest-running festival, opened on Sunday and will run until May 11.

Le Van Trang, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Huong Son Commune and Head of the Organizing Committee, said the festival aims to promote the Huong Son national special relic complex not only as a destination for visitors nationwide but also as a spiritual pilgrimage site where people can find inner peace and serenity.
The organizers plan to develop four-season tourism, highlighting the complex’s unique cultural and spiritual values throughout the year.
From February 17-21 (the 1st to 5th day of the Lunar New Year), the complex welcomed nearly 136,000 visitors and pilgrims, up 138% from the same period last year.
