(VOVworld) – The head of Iranian Parliament’s Foreign Policy Committee Alaeddin Boroujerdi on Saturday rejected Teheran’s suspension of 20% uranium enrichment. Boroujerdi said Iran’s nuclear program remains unchanged. He also urged countries not to make hasty predictions, but wait for the outcomes of talks between Iran and the P5+1, including 5 permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany.
Earlier, Hossein Naqavi Hosseini, spokesperson of the Iranian Parliament’s Foreign Policy Committee, announced that Tehran suspended the enrichment of over 5% uranium for the reason that Iran has enough fuel for 20%-enriched uranium, which Hosseini said are used for a medical research reactor. The meeting between Iran and the P5+1 is scheduled to take place in Geneva, Switzerland on November 7,8.
