Iran pledges full support for Vietnamese citizens
(VOVWORLD) - Iran is making every effort to assist Vietnamese citizens, ensuring they receive support equal to that provided to local residents.

The statement was made by Mohammad Mirali Mohammadi, Iran’s Chargé d’Affaires to Vietnam, during a press briefing in Hanoi on Wednesday to provide updates on the latest developments in Iran.
He said that Iran’s Foreign Ministry and relevant authorities have maintained close contact with the Embassy of Vietnam in Tehran to update the situation and ensure the safety of Vietnamese citizens living and working in the country. Vietnamese nationals have either been evacuated or are urgently relocating to safer areas.
Mr. Mohammadi spoke highly of Vietnam’s consistent stance in supporting peace and advocating the settlement of disputes through peaceful means in line with international law and the United Nations Charter. He affirmed that Iran does not wish to prolong the conflict and welcomes mediation efforts by countries around the world aimed at easing tensions.
