(VOVworld)-US President Barrack Obama and Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda met in Washington on Monday. Speaking at their joint press briefing following talks at the White House, both sides agreed that their alliance is the foundation for peace, security and stability in the Asia Pacific. The two leaders committed to exercise their role and responsibility in fostering stability in Asia. They agreed to review the re-positioning of US forces in Japan to strengthen capacity in coping with possible emergency. Both will boost bilateral ties in space technology, virtual space and rare earth industries.
