(VOVWORLD) - Vice President Kamala Harris has accepted the rules set forth for September 10 debate with former President Donald Trump on ABC, including microphone muting.

The source, who declined to be identified, said the Harris campaign is still hoping for moments where ABC News, which will host the debate, will be forced to unmute the mics and let the candidates respond.
Vice President Harris, the Democratic nominee, on Saturday called on her opponent to debate with the microphones on the whole time.
Republican Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance and Tim Walz, the Democratic candidate, have agreed to debate on October 1 on CBS.
