Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received his Laotian counterpart Thongsing Thammavong

(VOVworld)-Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received his Laotian counterpart Thongsing Thammavong on Sunday in the southern central city of Quy Nhon. Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong and a senior Laotian delegation are on an visit to the Vietnamese provinces of Kon Tum, Gia Lai and Binh Dinh at the invitation of the Vietnamese Prime Minister. PM Dung expects that the visit will strengthen the special friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos and boosting cooperation in trade, investment and education:“Both countries treasure the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation. We pledge to seek for all possible cooperative measures to boost mutual support and development in all areas.”The 2 leaders agreed to accelerate exchanges of visits and actively implement the agreements signed by the Politbureaus and senior leaders. The 2 countries’ Inter-Governmental Committee will address remaining issues and promote practical and in-depth economic cooperation while make further responses to the “Vietnam-Laos Year of Solidarity and Friendship 2012”
