The deputies praised the drastic leadership of the Party Politburo and Secretariat, the Government, and the National Assembly in ensuring the effective implementation of policies from the central to local level.

Deputy Ta Thi Yen from Dien Bien province said: "After the National Assembly adopted the Resolution on reorganizing provincial-level administrative units, localities should effectively promote advantages of the new economic space, targeting a growth rate of 8 to 10%, especially in key economic zones and major cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. It is necessary to continue leveraging special mechanisms, policies, and high-quality human resource training. When these solutions are implemented decisively and in a coordinated manner at all levels, we will surely achieve or even exceed the 8% growth target for this year."

Deputy Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh of Vinh Long province said the four major resolutions of the Politburo (Resolution 57, 59, 66 and 68) were successively issued, showing a strong and comprehensive reform direction, which has been applauded by the people.

"Investment on transport infrastructure is one of the key breakthroughs. Without synchronized and modern investment in transport infrastructure, we wouldn’t have achieved today’s results. Most recently, over 80 national key projects were inaugurated with a total capital of 15 billion USD. What matters most is not the number of projects and capital, but the new approach with national consensus and confidence," said Thanh.

In the afternoon session, the National Assembly deputies passed amendments to the Law on Efficient Use of Energy and the Law on Product and Goods Quality.
