(VOVworld)- At least 4 people were killed and nearly 50 others wounded in a bombing on Thursday.

According to Lebanese officials, the bomber detonated the bomb in a car in a southern suburb of Beirut. Security in Lebanon has been worsening due to the Syrian civil war. Violence has been occuring regularly in Beirut and other regions recently. The headquarters of the Hezbollah movement is located in south Beirut, where most people support the movement and backed the Syrian government against Syria’s opposition forces. The Syrian opposition and their supporters in Lebanon have vowed to launch attacks against Hezbollah.
