IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, in a press statement, says Israel has achieved “almost complete air superiority” over Iran. “So far, Israeli Air Force pilots have carried out 2,500 strikes and dropped more than 6,000 munitions,” Zamir said.

“We have neutralized and destroyed more than 60% of the ballistic missile launchers”,  General Zamir said, adding that Israel is moving to the next phase of its offensive, focusing on destroying Iran's military platforms and capabilities. The operation continues with close coordination and cooperation with US forces.

Meanwhile, Tehran claimed to have launched more than 2,500 missiles and UAVs against US and Israeli targets in the past six days, of which 40% were aimed at Israel and the remaining 60% at US facilities in the region. Iran also announced that it had deployed drones to attack the US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.

Earlier, on the first day of the conflict, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed it had attacked the US aircraft carrier with four cruise missiles, forcing the warship to move away from Iranian waters.
