Such actions have caused severe damage and continue to threaten the lives, safety and interests of people in the region, including Vietnamese citizens, while undermining economic activities as well as peace and stability in the region and the world, Hang said in response to reporters’ questions about escalating tensions in the Middle East.
She emphasized that Vietnam calls on all relevant parties to act responsibly, strictly comply with international law and the Charter and relevant resolutions of the United Nations, respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, resume negotiations, and create favourable conditions for dialogue aimed at resolving differences through peaceful means for the benefit of the people and for peace, stability and development in the region and the world.
