Ministry warns exporters of negative impacts of Middle East conflicts
(VOVWORLD) -The Import-Export Department at the Ministry of Industry and Trade on Monday sent a document to import-export industry associations and logistics associations recommending measures to minimize the impact of conflicts between the US, Israel, Iran, and the Middle East region.

The Department urged for close monitoring of developments, regular exchange of information with state management agencies to provide updated information to their members, enabling them to proactively plan production, organize import-export and transportation of goods and avoid congestion.
They were asked to diversify their sources of supply and seek other markets with similar demand for alternative options, when exports to Israel, Iran, and the Middle East face difficulties, and proactively prepare for similar incidents in the future.
Units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade were tasked with closely monitoring and promptly updating information on Middle East developments to exchange with associations, while considering strengthened cooperation with international organizations to be able to proactively respond to similar situations in the future, according to the document.
