Searches for Hanoi are up 103 per cent for travel in February and March compared with the same period last year, according to travel search engine Kayak, making the Vietnamese capital one of the fastest-rising long-haul city breaks for UK travelers.
Statistics from the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism showed that in January, the number of British visitors to Vietnam exceeded 41,000, up 33% compared to December 2025.
The Daily Mail reported Hanoi sees average temperatures of around 24°C in February and March, much warmer than the UK. Travelling to Hanoi is affordable if you act fast, as flights are currently almost £450 cheaper compared to March. At the end of February, return flights to the Vietnamese capital are averaging at around £700. Meanwhile, mid-March departures could set you back £1,071.
