At Saturday’s reception in Hanoi, the two leaders said that the legislative bodies of both Vietnam and Indonesia need to strengthen cooperation in the directions of increasing the exchange of high-level delegations, sharing experiences between the National Assembly's specialized committees, friendship groups of parliamentarians, female parliamentarians and young parliamentarians, especially in building laws and institutions, on global issues such as digital transformation, green growth, energy transition, and climate change response.

In addition, it’s necessary to jointly monitor the cooperation agreements between the two countries, facilitate comprehensive bilateral cooperation, including economic, local, business connections, and people-to-people exchanges, and closely cooperate at multilateral parliamentary forums, they said.
