(VOVworld)-National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung has praised the central province of Ha Tinh’s socio economic development despite global economic recession impact.

He suggested the province to ensure successful organization of public consultation on constitutional amendments and the land law as well as implementation of Party resolution on Party building. He urged the province to strive for an economic growth rate of 16%. Earlier on Saturday, the national assembly chairman participated at a festival in Nam Dan district in commemoration of King Mai Hac De, who defeated invaders 1,300 years ago:“The resistance led by King Mai Hac De demonstrates glorious history of the nation in the fight for independence. This has been promoted by generations of Vietnamese in national construction and defense.”The province held a workshop on the historical value of the resistance war and launched a contest to raise public understanding about the King.
