(VOVworld) – The National Assembly Committee for Social Affairs held a workshop in HCMC on Sunday on law and policies to promote social advancement and equality.

NA Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong said the Committee has played an active role in reforming the NA and improving democracy.  She said she believes that the Committee of the next tenure will continue to work with ministries, sectors, localities, National Assembly agencies, and social organizations to promote equality and social advancement during national industrialization, modernization, and international integration.
