(VOVworld) - National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung received Thailand – Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarian Group lead by its President Paijit Sree Warakan in Hanoi on Friday.

Hung pledged continued efforts to foster cooperation between the two friendship parliamentary groups and efficient implementation of signed agreements between the two sides. Both legislative bodies supported their governments’ view of developing an ASEAN of unity, mutual respect and support for peace, security, cooperation and development. President Warakan committed further cooperation with Vietnam and to facilitate Vietnamese people living and working in Thailand as well as the early signing of a bilateral labor cooperation agreement.

The same day, National Assembly Chairman Hung received outgoing Cuban Ambassador Fredesman Turro Gonzalez. He called for more mutual support in international forums and the strengthening of their bilateral friendship. The Ambassador said he would continue to nurture bilateral cooperation with Vietnam.
