National Assembly discusses draft Law on Price

National Assembly deputies Friday discuss the draft Law on Price. Deputies agreed on the law’s important objective of minimizing state intervention into supply and demand while building up a socialist oriented market economy.  The law aims to help the State better manage price and harmonize the relations between the State and the market. Deputy Tran Du Lich from Ho Chi Minh City said:  "The State should have different tools to manage monopolous commodities and public necessities as well as financial and administrative measures. The Law must focus on combating monopoly, speculation and manipulation.”

In the afternoon, deputies discussed the draft Law on Administrative Remedies.
