An art performance at the opening ceremony

In his address, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung said this is a major cultural and tourism event that reflects a new strategic development vision.

The vision, he noted, focuses on effectively leveraging the link between the majestic mountains and the vast sea and islands, thereby creating a diverse, unique, and distinctive tourism ecosystem for the province.

Under the theme “Gia Lai – Mountains Embrace the Sea”, the event runs from March 23 to March 30, featuring 244 activities.

Highlights include a showcase of Gia Lai’s culinary excellence, an investment promotion conference, a tourism economy development forum, a cooperation signing ceremony with four provinces of southern Laos, and another with three provinces in northeastern Cambodia.
