North Korea’s Central News Agency (KCNA) called the Max Thunder air force drill involving 100 aircraft a preparation for an invasion and a "provocation" just as the inter-Korea relationship is warming up.

The North-South talks were set for Wednesday in the Panmunjom truce village to discuss implementation of the “Panmunjom joint declaration” towards peace, unification, and prosperity on the Korean peninsula.
