At the OECD-Vietnam High-Level Economic Forum in Hanoi on Tuesday, Cormann noted that the OECD forecast Vietnam’s GDP for this year and the next to exceed 6%. This will attract more FDI to Vietnam as foreign firms help diversify the supply chain in the country, he said, advising Vietnam to work harder to ensure sustainable development.

Delegates at the forum discussed Vietnam’s economic development prospects and state management policies. Vietnam’s strategies on green development and digital transformation were updated at the event.
