One imported case of COVID-19 detected, 14 cases declared cured in Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam on Wednesday recorded a new case of COVID-19, who is a returnee from France and is being quarantined in the southern province of Binh Duong, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

Patient 1505 is a 26 years old female and Vietnamese citizen, entering Vietnam from France via Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi  Minh city.

The Treatment Subcommittee said 14 patients were declared cured on Wednesday.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Vietnam recorded a total of 1,505 cases of COVID-19 infections, of whom 1,353 patients were cured. There were 35 deaths.
