VOV officials present gifts to war invalids in Ha Nam province

(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Public Security on Saturday hosted a meeting to honor those in the police force, who made great contributions to the revolution. The meeting was attended by nearly 400 people, representing thousands of war invalids and relatives of martyrs nationwide. Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan praised their efforts and contributions and called for better care and preferential policies for them: “I urge the people’s police force to continue take regular care of war invalids, families of martyrs and those who rendered great services to the nation. Communications and education about the tradition of paying debts of gratitude should be intensified. The police force should devote their lives to protecting the fatherland, social order and people’s happiness. Further efforts need to be made to make sure that all revolutionaries enjoy preferential policies.”

Earlier, the delegation representing the police force laid wreath at heroic martyrs’ monument and visited Ho Chi Minh mausoleum.
