Paris 2024 Olympics, Paralympics hit record-high ticket sales
(VOVWORLD) - The Paris 2024 Olympics hit a historic milestone, selling a record-high 9.56 millions tickets for the Olympics Games, said the event’s organising committee, adding that the Paralympics Games also sold 2.58 million tickets, the second highest in history.

The Paris Games have been successful in all aspects, said the Olympics’ chief organizer Tony Estanguet, adding the organizing committee had sold 95% of all the tickets prepared for the events.
For the first time in the history of these events, their opening ceremony was not held in a stadium, said Estanguet at a press conference in Saint-Denis, Paris, on Thursday.
