Having a friendly talk with teachers and students there, Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong expressed his pleasure to visit his former school, one of Hanoi’s oldest schools with a time-honored tradition and educational quality.
He said, “Personally, this is a school that has left many unforgettable memories on me, an old student who was educated and taught for 6 consecutive years from 1957 to 1963 by the enthusiastic teachers. From the bottom of my heart, I would like to sincerely thank the efforts of teachers and staff as well as the support and cooperation of my schoolmates."
Nguyen Gia Thieu high school strives to become a high-quality school of national standards by 2030 and of regional and international standards by 2040.
