According to a report presented at the meeting, ministries, central agencies, and Party committees and administrations at all levels strictly followed Directive 55, taking coordinated, comprehensive measures to ensure that people nationwide enjoyed a joyful, warm, safe, and economical Tet.
General Secretary Lam called for the swift completion of programs to implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress. He also stressed the need to successfully organize the election on March 15 of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
“All operations must return to normalcy swiftly without backlog. Party committees and administrations at all levels must resume disciplined work from the very beginning of the year and strictly prevent prolonged spring outings that could lead to neglect of duties. Administrative discipline and public service ethics must be strengthened,” said Mr Lam.
He added, “Heads of agencies, units, and localities set an example through actions that match their words, foster a strong sense of urgency and responsibility from the outset, and take direct responsibility for any delays in handling matters affecting citizens and businesses.”
The Party leader emphasized the tasks of achieving socio-economic targets, removing bottlenecks hindering production and business activities, promoting public investment and disbursement, and mobilizing resources for growth. Closely monitor the post-Tet labor and employment situation, promptly address emerging issues, and strive to meet or exceed targets from the very first days and months of 2026, he said.
